DEVELOPMENT CENTRES
Bridgend County Borough has a strong school sport network and over 200 community clubs covering a broad range of sports and activities. As part of the talent development process there are some clubs that have a strategic sporting importance and there are also development centres for young people with the potential to go further in their sport. Development centres will usually have held a form of selection process but this is not always the case. Some of the opportunities that exist in Bridgend are as follows:-
Bridgend Athletics Club • Bridgend Hockey Club • Bridgend Swim Squad • Bridgend and District Rugby Union Bridgend County Football Development Centre • Bridgend Netball Development Centre • Bridgend Badminton Development Centre.
